I do not often give a five-star rating, but this story surprised me, educated me, and entertained me.

There was never a dull moment. Well done. JJ Toner captures perfectly the sense of paranoia and fear that prevailed in Berlin during the Third Reich, especially in the years 1938 to 1945.

The convoluted intermingling of different agencies, organizations and ministries, and over all the terror of the SS and its departments, is well set out.
