Some brief overview of this book

DO ONLY FOOLS NEED A GURU? "Your spiritual seeking has always been the cause of your failure and you are good for nothing when it comes to accomplishing something in the family situation", yells my wife at me. "Your spiritual seeking has always been the cause of your failure and you are good for nothing when it comes to accomplishing something in the family situation", yells my wife at me. She screams that she has never seen a fool like me in her entire life and adds had the spirituality worked for me, I would have achieved success in anything that I put my fingers on. What's wrong with me?

What am I seeking? Has spirituality done any good for me in my life? Is spirituality a time pass or a mean to entertain oneself just like wine that pleases a drunkard?

Is it a tool that is used as an excuse by lazy, fatigued, dull or, as my wife often says, good-for-nothing folks? Is it only for those who are well-settled in life, those who can sit chanting or keep meditating without any significant disturbance in their family life or life as a whole? Is spirituality like a mirage, which seems to be there but isn't really there?

And above all, is it a waste of time running behind the spirituality? Well! I am not an expert to answer all those questions.

Here, I won't teach anything, nor will I suggest, warn, guide or advise anything. What I'm going to do here is, I will sincerely put my journey in the so-called spiritual world into words; my seeking, my feelings, my findings, my experiences, my achievements and my failures, and at the same time my family situations to reveal both sides of the coin, and will leave the conclusion part up to you. Spirituality has always been a matter of curiosity for those who are involved in it and also for those who are not involved in it.

It is something that touches everybody sooner or later. Variety of things are being done and expected in the name of spirituality. I saw people wasting life doing idiotic things in the name of god and spirituality and I just wondered if I was one of them.

This is my very small but a sincere effort to present real events of my life as a case for study for psychologists, psychiatrists, believers, non-believers, theists, atheists, for those who are involved in spirituality in one way or the other and also for those who think that the spirituality is just an empty word. But again, this is just a case and not the only case. Each and every incident mentioned in this book is 100% true.

I leave the conclusion to your discretion.
